A Feminist Anthem

Ugh women

So sensitive

So dramatic

Not submissive enough

Always say no when I'm tryna hit

Always think they can dress how they want

Always thinking that they have the power when it’s the men that run things

Too opinionated

Fine you’re ugly anyways

They always got something to say

Ugh women

So beautiful

So poised

So independent

So strong

There's a reason the Amazon’s were women because even the Greek Gods know that you can never build a warrior quite like us

Every bone in our bodies are founded in power and strength

Our minds are oceans that keep the world flowing

Our hearts are pure gold with a harmony of peace and kindness

We are the past, present, and future

But you don't want to acknowledge that

You want to hide us

Belittle us

Embarrass us

Shame us

Well you can strip my vocal cords from my body

And my voice will still ring louder than your arrogance

My beauty will still shine

My spirits will still fly

My hope will still ring to the mountaintops

My mind will still create

But ya know, women
