What is love

To me, love is mainly about the certain things in my life that I love. As well as the people it can bring me. There are so many things in my life that I love without even realizing I love them. I feel this is because I don’t sit down and think about what I love normally. So, once I did, I realized how many things I have come to love from my childhood all the way up to now without even realizing it. I’m not going to hit every single thing I love but I will hit on the top ones where I feel like they have left the biggest impact.

I really can’t start this list off without talking about softball. I have played the sport for almost 10 years now. Starting at such a young age and growing up playing it has obviously left an impact on my life. I have met some of the best people I know and even some of my best friends. Majority of people I have played softball with over the years I still keep in touch with. Even from teams that were 6 years ago. It brings me closer to my family as well because my mom grew up playing the sport. Which is really why I got into it in the first place. Having the support from her, my dad, and especially my grandparents who rarely miss a game I don’t know if I would be anywhere without them. The amount of money and time that my parents put into me and making me the best player I could possibly be, I am forever grateful. All of them and the support they have given me has been a big push on why I love the sport even more. All the good, even some of the bad memories I have grown to love. Softball has left such an impactful memory on me that I will carry throughout my life because I have such love for the game. Especially all my old teammates and coaches. I love each and everyone of them and always love seeing them throughout the year at tournaments. As much as I say I hate this game or I am tired of it. I will never not have love for it. It has been one of the biggest pieces in my life and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My love for this game is everlasting even once I finally decide to put my glove down.

Movies are the one thing that I hold extremely dear to my heart. From such a young age I remember watching movies with my dad. I have grown up watching different movies and watching different series. We have watched so many movies I have lost count. We just started this new thing which is a scratch off movie poster with the top 100 movies. We have been watching them whenever we get a chance to do so. Which I really love because some of the movies on the list we have already watched and it’s almost like a new memory rewatching them again years after. With this list if I don’t watch them with my dad I also either watch them on my own or even with friends. Movies have made me grow closer to my dad and even to some of my friends. I feel like movies are such an easy way to have a connection with friends because you are able to talk about the different ones you love and even discover new movies together. It is also a good thing to do with a significant other because you are able to chill with them and watch a movie at the same time. I love movies so much I was even debating on going into a career in the industry. I have moved away from this idea but, I will always love movies and love watching them with my dad and my friends.

There are so many more things I could talk about but these are my top and I will always love them. I feel like love is such a hard thing to come by at this age so, its a lot easier to decide what in your life that you love rather than trying to debate whether you love someone or not. I am very thankful to have many things in my life that I love and have brought me closer to the people I love. To me doing the things that I love and with the people I love is the most important thing.
