Dear 2021 there was a lot of time where you made me laugh and a lot of time where I was excited to see you gone and have a new year come along. But now looking back at it all, I kinda miss the times where I first met new people and how we are still friends going into 2022. Though I don’t miss the times where you put me through hardships, I can say that I’m glad that you did it, because I was able to grow and learn from the mistakes that I made. Not only did I get to grow within myself I got to grow in friendships. You were filled with highs like finding new music and genres to listen to, or rediscovering old songs that I love. And you were filled with lows like having to study for midterms. For me you were a year of growth and you will be a year that I myself, and everyone will remember and with all of this being said, I can definitely say that you were a better year than 2020.
