New to Ohio? Lived in Ohio for a while and ran out of places to go? Well, here's a list of locations that will guarantee a good time that are in Ohio!



  1. Flowerchild

Flowerchild is owned by a man by the name of Joe Valenti who is originally from San Francisco. This shop provides the vintage vibe and authentic clothes from the 30s-80s! Located in Downtown Columbus, Flowerchild holds a 4.5 star review on Google.


  1. The Book Loft

If you are looking for an adventurous way of looking for and purchasing books, go to the Book Loft located in German Village. The bookstore is in an old house with 3 floors and 32 rooms! There are not only books but there are socks, shirts, fun bookmarks, tote bags, etc. With 4.8 stars, the maze-like store has so much to offer like occasional author book signings. Every genre is available with an amazing selection. All books are comparable to Amazon prices. It is near impossible to leave without a book or two.


  1. The Otherworld

Located in Reynoldsburg, the Otherworld provides a fun and interactive experience with your whole family! The Otherworld is a museum of many rooms with digital art, puzzles, and illusions. Currently it has 4.7 stars on Google. Reviews claim it is worth every penny, fantastical, and mesmerizing.


  1. Walk around German Village

Bring your friends, significant others, family, or you and your headphones and take a stroll through German Village. It is a calm and peaceful activity for anyone. Especially during the fall time! On your walk, you will see boutiques, small businesses, coffee shops, restaurants, and homes from the pre- civil war era.


  1. Franklin Park Conservatory

In Columbus, there sits a botanical garden called the Franklin Park Conservatory. When you visit, you will see a large variety of plants and flowers with a vast color palette! Reviewers say you see butterflies, it is clean and well- maintained, and an overall experience for all ages.


  1. Walk the Scioto Mile

On a beautiful sunny day, walk the Scioto Mile in Downtown Columbus! The Mile provides great scenery of Downtown. Along the path, there are even swings! So, grab yourself a breakfast at places nearby like Milestone 229, The Goat, or Bonjour Café!


  1. Park of Roses

The Park of Roses is the place to be for pretty pictures, greenery, and amazing scenery! With fountains and many colors of roses, you are sure to have a peaceful and relaxing time. You are even able to see bunnies and various types of birds around the park. The Park of Roses is the perfect place to sit on a bench and read a book or bring a blanket, some friends and have a picnic.
